Membership Demographics
Ann Arbor Flyers is made up of women and men with diverse flying experiences who are connected by a shared passion for aviation. We welcome new student pilots, we have VFR-only pilots, and we have active and retired professional pilots with experience in everything from CRJs to 747s. Primary and advanced instruction is independently available from club members who are certified flight instructors. Regardless of experience, we all hold ourselves to high standards of safety, proficiency, and ongoing instruction. We take pride in maintaining our club aircraft with the mindset that we are all co-owners. All of our members appreciate the cross-country friendly club rules, and many just enjoy the freedom of flight after work or on weekends.
