About AAF

The Ann Arbor Flyers is a non-profit corporation established in October 1940. We are conveniently located at the Ann Arbor Municipal Airport (KARB) in Ann Arbor, MI, 25 miles west of Detroit Metropolitan Airport. Our goals are to provide affordable membership and flying, in well-maintained aircraft. The club is operated as a member-owned association where each member contributes their talents to keep the club and aircraft operating smoothly. Our membership is comprised of a diverse group of men and women, spanning the breadth of aviation experience from beginning students to veteran pilots holding Airline Transport Pilot certificates. Throughout the club’s 75-year history we have been dedicated to promoting safe aviation and have owned and operated numerous well-maintained aircraft .
